Sustainability and Product Engineer
A hybrid role combining sustainability analysis and product engineering to embed environmental best practices into customer products and CarbonGraph’s platform.

Position Overview
This role combines two core competencies of sustainability analysis and product engineering. This role involves ensuring that Customers receive the product insights they need to meet their reduction roadmap goals, while also designing and developing CarbonGraph products that incorporate environmental sustainability best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Product Development Strategy: Assist Customers to design and develop products that are environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and made from sustainable materials. Ensure products meet sustainability standards and certifications.
Sustainability Integration: Develop and implement sustainable design principles into Customer product engineering processes and reduction roadmap strategy.
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA): Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) with customers to evaluate the environmental impact of their products and processes throughout their lifecycle.
Collaboration and Strategy: Work with cross-functional Customer teams, including product development, marketing, and supply chain, to integrate sustainability into product strategies. Collaborate with Customer stakeholders to set and achieve reduction roadmap goals.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure Customers meet compliance with environmental regulations and standards in product design and development.
Communication and Reporting: Assist Customers to communicate sustainability achievements and challenges to stakeholders.
CarbonGraph Product Development: Provide Customer feedback and requirements to CarbonGraph Product and Engineering leads to improve UI/UX, prioritize and develop new features to increase Customer adoption.
Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Product Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in sustainability engineering or product development with a focus on sustainability.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
