Hello CarbonGraphers!
We’ve rolled out a set of updates this month aimed at making CarbonGraph a bit smoother and more efficient to work with. These changes came directly from user feedback and focus on reducing small frustrations and making everyday modeling tasks faster.
Here’s what’s new:
You can now select multiple cards and apply actions to them all at once, which should help when adjusting several parts of a model at the same time. Simply use the Shift key, and drag a box over all cards you would like included in these batch updates. This is by far the most popular request in recent weeks, and one we are really excited to share!
Tired of trying to line up your flowsheet cards? Flowsheets now snap to a grid, so keeping layouts tidy is quicker and less fiddly. Look for the grid shaped button in the left nav bar when you're in the flowsheet editor.
For those who need to review raw versus normalized values (often during debugging or detailed checks), there’s now an easy toggle in the interface.
You can right-click on any part of a connector to access its menu, instead of having to find a specific click point.
If you’re working with linked flowsheets, you can now open them in new tabs without losing your place in the original.
Scenario comparisons should now run faster thanks to adjustments to how parameters are handled.
Toast notifications now share a consistent style across the platform for a cleaner look.
Several under-the-hood optimizations should make the interface more responsive overall.
These changes are mostly about small, cumulative improvements — the kind that add up to a smoother experience over time. Thanks to everyone who’s sent in suggestions or flagged pain points. Your feedback continues to guide what we work on next.
